Last weekend, I went to Shenzhen. One afternoon, I spent several hours at the 迁鸟书吧 in Shenzhen Bay Park. At dusk, I took a walk in the park, which was bustling with people. I noticed that most of them were young—about 30 years old or younger. Quite a few were even under 25. Among them, I actually felt somewhat old.
Thinking back to my days in Beijing, I remember the streets were filled with middle-aged people, which always made me feel a bit disheartened.
